These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Smart Scholar Academy's website and online tutoring services. By registering for or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Smart Scholar Academy provides one-on-one and small-group online tutoring for students from Grade 1 to university level, across Math, Science, English, IT, and other subjects, delivered via live online sessions.

2. Registration & Eligibility

Students under 18 must register and be enrolled through a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for account activity, scheduling, and payments.

3. Booking & Scheduling

• Sessions must be booked in advance through our website or by contacting our team
• Rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session
• Late arrivals do not extend the session time

4. Payments & Refunds

• Fees must be paid in advance of scheduled sessions unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Missed sessions without 24 hours' notice may be charged in full
• Refunds, where applicable, are assessed on a case-by-case basis and issued at our discretion

5. Code of Conduct

Students, parents, and tutors are expected to maintain respectful, professional behavior during all interactions. Smart Scholar Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this standard.

6. Tutor Independence

Tutors engaged through Smart Scholar Academy are independent contractors. While we vet and monitor tutor quality, we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes or grade improvements.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, worksheets, and content provided during sessions remain the intellectual property of Smart Scholar Academy or its tutors and may not be redistributed or resold without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Smart Scholar Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, including but not limited to technical disruptions, internet connectivity issues, or third-party platform outages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services for any user who violates these Terms or engages in conduct harmful to our tutors, students, or platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
